Now the old man had great many cattle and pigeons. And he told 2 of the pigeons to fly to the kraal and say what he told them to say. So they flew and they flew and went to the kraal and said to her: "Kamiyo, Kamiyo, give us your apron." So the people at the kraal said: "Oh, give them your apron, let them have it." So the pigeons flew back with it. Then the old man sent them back again, and they came to the kraal and sang: "Kamiyo, Kamiyo, give us your clothes." So the people at the kraal said: "Let them have your clothes and leave us in peace." So the pigeons took the clothes. But the old man sent them again, this time to take away her headdress. Then the people said: "Let them have your beads and your headcloth, it's the woman we want."
